Hello dear student!
Glad you found it here. Here at the Educational Sciences section (Utsek), we represent you who are studying to become teachers, but also for you who are studying bachelor's programs in pedagogy, sports coaching, the nutrition and leadership program and the health promotion program.
In addition, we represent you who are studying a master's program in didactics or pedagogy as well as you who are a doctoral student at one of the Faculty of Education's four departments.

Education monitoring
One of our most important missions is to ensure that all education at the Faculty of Education meets the standards. We do this, among other things, by appointing student representatives at all meetings that take place at the University of Gothenburg and that affect students to some degree. Only Utsek has the mandate to appoint student representatives at our faculty. Are you interested in applying for one of our vacant positions? Application form can be found further down the page!
We also accept student cases. If you or your friend feel mistreated by a teacher, feel unfairly judged on an exam or just need help with a question related to your studies, don't hesitate to email our chairman.
Working environment
Just as important as being treated correctly on an exam is having a good working environment when studying. Utsek works intensively with the students' work environment, including by participating in work environment committees at the faculty, and by coordinating the work of the entire university together with other unions.

Student welfare
When the studies are finished, it is important to have a social context, the possibilities for this are endless at Utsek. For example, you can contact one of our associations or committees. Alternatively, you can start a new association or committee if you can't find what you're looking for and feel compelled! You can read more about our associations further down the page.
Labor market
Finally, there should be somewhere to go after you graduate. At Utsek, we arrange a number of labor market-related events, so that you can gain knowledge about what awaits after graduation. For more information - keep an eye on this page and our Instagram!
